If you’re planning a Roslin Hotel wedding in Southend, Ellena and Danny’s day is a perfect mix of style, love, and seaside calm. The Roslin Hotel sits just across the road from the beach and has that chic modern vibe that suits relaxed couples who still love a touch of elegance.

The Venue and Atmosphere
The day felt peaceful from start to finish – soft, romantic, and full of warmth. The floor to ceiling windows in the ceremony room filled the space with gentle beach light, blending beautifully with the golden candle glow inside. The hints of green foliage, gold bridesmaid dresses, and natural tones gave the day a timeless yet modern feel.

Capturing the Moments
Time was tight. I had just one hour to shoot the confetti toss, couple portraits, and family photos — but Ellena and Danny made it effortless. During their portraits, they were completely relaxed and in their own little world. Those quiet, intimate moments made for some of my favourite images from the day.

My Approach to Wedding Photography
As a documentary wedding photographer in Essex, I aim to capture the real stuff – laughter, emotion, and everything in between. Ellena and Danny fully trusted my vision, and that trust allowed me to focus purely on their connection and joy.

The Roslin Hotel in Southend was one of my favourite Essex seaside wedding venues to photograph. The light, the atmosphere, and the coastal setting always make for something special.

If you’re planning a Southend wedding or looking for an Essex seaside wedding photographer, I’d love to tell your story too.
